The entry cap is 180, subject to review.

The minimum entry is 140, subject to review at 8 weeks prior by HRC

The event is heavily impacted by major sewer works in the road above the lower park. This has removed trailer parking completely in this area, and removes access for parking trailers and loading boats onto trailers after the event is over. This has removed over 60 boat spaces.

Further, the works have removed safe access to Denham street for parking trailers as reversing from Church St is not safe due to Church St traffic and the need to reverse downhill. The sewer works have removed the option to drive through from Church Street just after the bridge.

HRC will be applying to the council to close half of Denham St to allow access for boats to be carried up the hill to the upper park for storing on trestles. This will severely affect School boat egress, which may remove another 40 boat spaces.

THERE IS NO TRAILER PARKING  AT ANY TIME AT THE FINISH

ALL BOATS WILL BE STORED AT THE FINISH UNTIL THE RIVER OPENS (usually 3 pm)

HRC is actively exploring options to increase the cap, and changes may be made at any time.

Entries close 6 weeks prior, Monday 0900 18/10/21
There will then be immediate invoicing of all clubs, and if payment is not received by Monday 0900 1/11/21, the entries will lapse.
If there is a waiting list, lapsed payment crews go to the end of the queue if
there is a reapplication.
 
If the event is cancelled between  Monday 0900 18/10/21 and  Monday 0900
1/11/21, there will be a full refund of entry fees.
If the event is cancelled after Monday 0900 1/11/21, there will be no refund.

Start Ranking

Ranking will be derived from the 2019 HOTY results. The ranking belongs to the entering club, and for Masters crews, the ranking is for an age bracket, not for individual rowers. As crews age, they may move into an older bracket for which the entering club does not hold a ranking.

They may also inherit a ranking from previous events if there was an older club crew which held a ranking.
